Greensboro Dentist Biography
Dr. Scott Welch always knew he wanted to be a dentist and feels lucky that he has been able to realize his passion through his daily work. A native of North Carolina, he earned a B.A. in chemistry and a D.D.S. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, starting his own dental practice in Greensboro after graduation in 1991.
Dr. Welch loves what he does and enjoys helping patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles.
"I like the art of dentistry, but what is truly meaningful to me is that I am able to use my dentistry skills while enjoying the relationships that I have developed with my 'family' of patients over the years."
Dr. Welch is a member of the American Dental Association, the Guilford County Dental Society and local dentistry study clubs. While studying for his D.D.S., Dr. Welch was a member and president of Delta Sigma Delta, the dental fraternity at Chapel Hill.
I have assembled a staff that shares my vision: a group of people whoScott and his wife, Rhonda (his high school sweetheart), spend time enjoying Bruce Springsteen concerts across the country and rooting for the Tarheels. Dr. Welch likes to try out new hobbies, such as backpacking, motorcycling, skiing and sailing. When Scott and Rhonda can, they love traveling to places all over the world, including Europe and the Caribbean. When you get the chance, be sure to ask him about "Flossing Across the World."
strive each day to give our patients their best and make
each day fun and unique. — Dr. Scott Welch
